Five Members of the PIM Faculty presented three papers at the above forum, organized by the AMDISA – Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia held at the Bandos Island, Maldives, April, 2017. Over hundred delegates from the SAARC countries representing management institutions and universities attended the forum; especially selected number of papers were presented and widely deliberated. The broad theme of the forum was “Governance and PublicPolicy – Role of Management Development”. The PIM delegation made their contribution through three important papers under the above theme, namely “Public Service Capacity Building in Sri Lanka”(Prof. Ajantha S Dharmasiri and D. Lloyd Fernando), “Challenges in E-Government to Realize its Full Potential Impact in Sri Lanka”( Dr. Gayan H Jayakody) and “Measuring Training Effectiveness of Executive Development Programmes: An Institutional Response to Develop a Participatory Model for Enhances Development”( Mr. Samantha Rathnayake and Mr. K.A.I.Kalyanaratne).
